Scott County Homebuyers Club Grant
The program is designed to help first-time homebuyers in Scott County of Minnesota. Grants are awarded to those with qualified mortgages in an amount up to $3,000 — the grants are a one-time benefit, do not have to be repaid and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Homebuyer Club Grant can be used towards a home down payment or closing costs. The home purchased needs to be the primary residence of the borrower to qualify. Borrowers must also complete all the Scott County Community Development Agency Homebuyer Club sessions and complete courses with a Homeownership Counselor.
The maximum home purchase price cannot exceed $250,000.
